This workshop is the culmination of a lifetime of embodied experience.
Simon has taught thousands across the globe and lived through countless health challenges himself. Drawing on the wisdom of teachers from India, China, Tibet, and beyond, this training goes far beyond learning postures—it’s about experiencing yoga as intelligent, healing movement.
Developed over 40 years by physiotherapists Simon Borg-Olivier and Bianca Machliss, the Yoga Synergy Method blends Western medical science with traditional yoga wisdom. Simon studied personally with Sri B.K.S. Iyengar, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and Sri T.V.K. Desikachar. The result is a safe, dynamic, meditative flow that thousands worldwide have benefited from. Bianca and Simon have successfully trained teachers globally for over 20 years.

5-Dimensional Flow explores the common origin of all natural movement, from yoga to qigong, martial arts, dance and therapeutic exercises. It centres on the idea that movement, breath, and even emotions originate in the lower abdominal region—the seat of your enteric nervous system (the “gut brain”). By reconnecting with the five main “dimensions” of core and trunk movement, adults can rediscover the natural fluidity often lost in modern life.

You have an option to join for the WEEKEND or for FULL 6-DAYS. If you're looking to dive deep into Simon's teaching, the 6-Day intensive is one of the best options he offers, as it covers his teaching methodology fully. But if you can't attend, even the weekend introduction will give you so much to work with.
You’ll immerse yourself in 5-Dimensional Synergy Flow — a system that unites the common roots of yoga, tai chi, qigong, dance, and natural human movement, enriched with modern physiotherapy and science-based principles.
Simon combines modern science with traditional yoga to create practices suited to the modern body. Drawing clear bridges between Eastern methods and Western physiology, he explores the evolution of kriyā and the art of prāṇāyāma as practical tools for everyday life helping you tense less and feel more.
This practice teaches you how to develop strength without tension, flexibility without stretching, and much more. You will learn how to trully restore the harmony between body, breath, and mind.

Simon combines modern science with traditional yoga to help you tense less and feel more. Each session includes posture, movement, breathing, and mental control integrated into simple, effective practices suitable for all levels.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to unlock their practice by bringing clarity, intelligence, and lived understanding to traditional yogic methods — unpacking, questioning, and flipping some common paradigms of modern yoga.
Highlights of the workshop:
Mastering the Art of Effortless Movement:
Learn the key bridges between conscious and subconscious and tap into your unseen potential.
Effortless Strength & Flexibility
You will dive deep in Simon’s approach to develop strength without stress, build flexibility without stretching. Sounds impossible right? Wait till you experience it.
Rewiring the Body for Natural Healing
Learn to activate your body’s wisdom to heal from within through the ancient eastern practices rooted and explained through western medical understanding.
Unlocking the Keys to Longevity
Experience the practice with the focus shifted from conventional goals to holistic well-being for a pain free and energizing life.
Somatic Intelligence
Embody the idea of working with the body rather than against it. Not a work out, but a work in.
The Missing Link in Healing
Find our how to reconnect your gut-brain (your core) with the thinking brain as the foundation of healing through breath and movement. This is the missing link in nervous system healing.
Each day is structured to move from direct experience into clear understanding.
MORNING PRACTICE
In the morning, you'll explore a meditative, fluid, and dynamic practice, including silent static meditation, chanting, self-massage, fluid joint exercises and spinal movements with music (of all types). You'll also practice various powerful and ancient internal cleansing exercises (kriya), many of which are hard to access elsewhere. Often, these practices can culminate into free dance and non-contact internal martial arts movements.
MIDDAY SESSION (OPTIONAL)
This session is an extra add-on for everyone who wants to learn more. You'll have time to ask questions and focus on the specific topics you'd want to dive deep into. You can participate or enjoy a longer break between the morning and afternoon practice.
AFTERNOON PRACTICE
In the afternoon you'll explore traditional yoga forms through the Yoga Synergy System. Here, the asanas are unpacked and integrated using principles of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and therapeutic modalities, helping you understand why the practices work and how to apply them more effectively and safely. These sessions will include an interactive theoretical workshop section where each exercise is analysed, practised with verbal cues, and then practised in a beautiful meditative way to music with only visual guidance.
Throughout the day, practical theory is woven directly into movement, bridging embodied experience with functional understanding.

This free masterclass introduces the core principles behind Simon Borg-Olivier’s teaching — combining traditional yogic methods with modern anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. It offers a practical, embodied insight into how 5-Dimensional Flow creates movement that is meditative, efficient, and deeply supportive of long-term health.
It’s important to note that this masterclass represents only one aspect of Simon’s work. In the workshop and live trainings, these principles are further integrated into traditional yoga practices, including āsana, prāṇāyāma, kriyā, meditation, and teaching methodology — supported by anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and therapeutic insight.
